- Preheat the oven to grill and cook the beef burgers to your personal preference.
- Whilst the burgers cook, toast the bun halves.
- Once toasted, spread some mayonnaise evenly over the top halves of the buns and place the lettuce on the bottom halves.
- Place the burgers onto the bottom halves of the buns and add a slice of tomato and onion on top.

- ½ a red onion, cut into ¼ of an inch thick slices
- ½ beef tomato, cut into ¼ of an inch thick slices
