Porky Whites is proud to be among nearly 30 Surrey businesses selected to receive funding as part of Surrey County Council’s Economic Growth Fund, a major £1 million investment designed to support local innovation, create jobs and strengthen the county’s economy.
The latest round of funding supports a wide range of forward-thinking businesses including green technology innovators to specialist food producers. As a proudly Surrey-based food manufacturing business, Porky Whites is delighted to be recognised alongside other Surrey enterprises that are helping to shape a vibrant, resilient local economy.
Supporting Local Growth and Jobs
Surrey County Council launched the EconomicGrowth Fund to back ideas that accelerate growth, boost innovation and create new employment opportunities. With individual grants of up to £75,000, the programme aims not only to support business expansion, but also to unlock millions of pounds in additional match funding and investment across the county. Since the fund launched last year, more than £3 million has already been invested in Surrey businesses across two funding rounds.
