Porky Whites is proud to confirm that we have received 7 Finalist nominations across 7 separate categories at the forthcoming UK Sausage Week Awards. The Awards, which takes at Butcher’s Hall in London on Monday 26th October 2026, will kick off a week-long celebration of the humble banger.
Porky Whites 2026 Finalist Nominations
In total there are 10 sausage categories to be won, with an overallSupreme Champion chosen from amongst the category winners. In recent years, Porky Whites has celebrated a number of finalist nominations, category wins (2025’s Best Cocktail Sausage) and in 2024 Porky Whites Signature Surrey Pork Sausage was crowned Best Pork Sausage and Supreme Champion!

Commenting on this year’s entries, Bill Jermey, chair of theInstitute of Meat said;
“I really enjoyed the sausage judging – bangers and mash are one of my go-to meals! It was good to taste some really great traditional sausages as well as some interesting variations to tempt more modern tastes – some worked for me and others didn’t, but that is to be expected. Overall, the quality was excellent.”

Back again for 2026, UK Sausage Week is the UK’s biggest annual event promoting sausages comes back into profile this autumn.
With sausages being so important to the meat industry and also a much-loved staple food enjoyed by many, many millions of consumers, the initiative is specifically designed to support the trade and its suppliers, and to generate substantial interest and increased revenues over the all-important autumn period, a key time for sausage sales both at retail and wholesale.
