Our best-seller and our signature sausage, the ‘Surrey’ is quite simply the sausage we built our name on. Made from the finest cuts of pork, it’s the big sausage with the big taste. Peppery with a hint of real honey and lemon juice, it makes for a meaty and satisfying breakfast, lunch or dinner. Now officially the UK’s Supreme Sausage Champion – Surrey’s gift to the rest of the UK, it leaves the Cumberland quaking in its skin! When reviewed by the Guild of Fine Food (2025), the panel had this to say; "These sausages have a rich colour and a shiny appearance. They are firm to cut and have a soft but coarse-textured centre. When cut, they appear quite juicy. They have some succulence in the mouth from the fat, and the casing has some chewiness. These plump and glossy sausages have an enticing savoury and herby aroma and cut to reveal a herb-lecked interior. We enjoyed the sage, the seasoning, and the sweetness. An attractive bronze sausage, this has good caramelisation and a strong porky, savoury nose. A hint of sweetness comes through from the pork and honey, and the lemon is well balanced."
